Meet The Team

Meet the people who make it all happen.

At EC Awards, we believe every award should tell a story. Behind each trophy and bespoke commission is a dedicated team who bring creativity, craftsmanship and customer care together. We’re a small, passionate family run business, and we love working closely with our clients to create awards that feel truly special. Meet the people who make it all happen.

Neil Seymour

Managing Director

Neil Seymour is the Managing Director at EC Awards, and you’ll struggle to find a harder-working man in the industry. Any time of day—often seven days a week—Neil is putting his expertise into the business, making sure we’re always positioned to put our best foot forward.

With exceptional attention to detail, a deep understanding of Google advertising, and a sharp eye for numbers, Neil plays a huge role in ensuring EC Awards has strong visibility online and continues to grow in the right direction. He’s lived and breathed the industry for decades, and it’s rare to find someone who genuinely cares as much about customers, their events, and the importance of getting every detail right.

From crafting trophies in our old shop with his famous trophy-maker’s knife, to helping build a nationally recognised corporate awards supplier, Neil’s years of experience and passion are woven into everything EC Awards is today.

Outside the office, Neil still laces up his boots for a game of football (hard to believe, we know!), enjoys watching his horses occasionally win, and loves good wine and great food.

A fun fact: Neil has been on 174 stag dos—and counting!

Ben Seymour

Sales Director

Ben has been part of EC Awards for over a decade, but the Seymour connection to the industry goes back much further. His family name has been rooted in awards since 1976, when Challenge Trophies first opened its doors—giving Ben a genuine lifelong link to the world of trophies and recognition.

With a real passion for the industry, Ben thrives on meeting people, chatting with customers, and building strong, lasting relationships. He’s played a major role in developing our brilliant range of awards and has been pivotal in growing the talented team we have at EC Awards HQ today. Ben is always on the lookout for the next great idea or partnership that can help drive EC Awards forward and keep us ahead of the curve.

Ben’s all about taking the stress out of organising events, making sure every customer feels supported, informed, and at ease from start to finish.

Outside the office, you’ll usually find him watching or playing football, out for a run, cooking something new, or adventuring with his Old English Sheepdog, Norman.

A fun fact: Ben once jumped in a Kayak and paddled from one end of the River Thames to the  other for Charity. Spanning over 35 hours, 17 packs of Jelly babies, 4 pots of Sudocrem and 2 hours sleep!

Michael Falzarano

Client Engagement Manager

Michael has been a huge part of EC Awards’ success in recent years. Now three years into his role, his energy, drive, and genuine passion for helping customers continue to set him apart. It’s no surprise that once customers work with Michael, they rarely want to deal with anyone else—and there’s no bigger compliment than that.

His main focus is simple: the customer. Michael works hard to ensure every client receives the service, attention, and support they deserve. Internally, he keeps our standards high, helping the team deliver the level of quality we expect for ourselves and for our customers. He’s also constantly looking for ways to grow and strengthen our fantastic client base.

Outside the office, you’ll either find Michael flying around the 5-a-side pitch, cooking up an outrageous pasta dish inspired by his Italian roots, or enduring the emotional rollercoaster that is supporting Manchester United.

A fun fact: Michael’s connection with EC Awards goes back much further than his job title. He and Ben first met at nursery at just four years old, meaning their friendship has now spanned over 25 years, from playtime to the EC Awards team!

James Brazier

Sales Executive

James is one of the newest additions to the EC Awards team, joining us to support the sales side of the business. While he may be early in his career, the personality and enthusiasm he’s brought with him have been genuinely infectious. He loves picking up the phone to chat with customers, and it’s already clear how much clients appreciate this hands-on, personal approach.

James goes above and beyond to source products and solutions that work for any lead time or budget. He has a great knack for finding suitable options for even the most specific briefs, and he’s thrown himself fully into both our stock and bespoke award work. His commitment, energy, and willingness to get stuck in have made him a brilliant fit from day one.

Outside the office, James is a budding semi-professional rugby player (when he’s not constantly injured!), and he loves socialising with friends and training in the gym.

Fun fact: before rugby took over, James played football for Aston Villa.

Emily Prideaux

Marketing Consultant

Emily has been part of the EC Awards family since 2020, working with the team one day a week to lead all things marketing. Alongside the agency, she manages the EC Awards website, creates the email campaigns, and looks after everything Google related – from ads and analytics to SEO and now AI.

With a sharp eye for detail and a natural instinct for what customers want, Emily plays a key role in helping EC Awards stay ahead of the curve. Despite also running her own ecommerce business, she remains fully dedicated to EC Awards. She often says the team’s forward thinking attitude is unlike anywhere she’s ever worked, and that’s what makes being part of the company such a joy.

Outside of work, Emily is always on the move. She’s a keen tennis and squash player, a regular runner. Based in Brighton, she spends a lot of time in the water, whatever the weather.

A fun fact: Emily swims outdoors through the winter without a wetsuit, even when the sea temperature drops close to freezing.
